Easy Dating Tips for GETTING MORE DATES - Mother's Day
And here you thought that perhaps this Sunday you would get a break? Pfff. We think not.
So, I did mention this in my comments from my previous blog post. I thought I'd better make it its OWN post.
Leverage Mother's Day while you are at the Mall shopping for women, ah, I mean, of course, a present for your mother.
One of the feminine attributes I encourage my female clients to leverage in wanting MASCULINE men to pursue them is I recommend, LET him Be The Man. LET him be The Expert. LET him be AN expert. Yes, when we are competing in a field, we are BOTH men. I'm just the one with breasts, as I was amusedly telling one man whom I met at Image Takeaway weekend in Philly on Sunday who was asking me more about my work as a Romance Coach and Online Dating Coach. He liked that. Of course, most men enjoy when we cite BREASTS. Even just the use of the word, BREASTS is hypnotic, isn't it? Got your attention if you're a man. The women - our eyes just bug out a bit and then we laugh, either externally or at least internally. Audacious, isn't it? Well, indeed, be a little audacious.
Well, just as men like to be treated as Experts in SOME field, to put them in their I'm feeling MANLY mode, so women can SAFELY and easily be approached for expert advise about WHAT DO WOMEN LIKE IN SHOPPING? This an area where WE are the experts, or like to purport ourselves that way, and we're safely NOT competing.
Leverage that it is Mother's Day this Sunday. (you DID know, right? Of course you did. And if not, I'm helping you out on another level. No charge. My pleasure.) Ask other women, what're you getting your mother for mother's day? I don't want to JUST get her flowers/take her for brunch. I want to do something SPECIAL to give. What would YOU recommend?
Ah, now you have her pleasantly talking with you.
She is opening up to you about WHAT SHE LIKES and it's not just utterly fabulous shoes.
"Oh, really, that sounds so cool. I'm so glad I asked you for your advise. Wow. That's such a help. I can just SEE giving that to a woman...." time to segue here, gentlemen. She is In Rapport with you NOW. Leverage it... "How would you like to go get a coffee here and take a break from shopping with me?" Cool, wasn't that? After the charming coffee, "Audry, I've really had a great time talking with you and getting to know you a little. I want to see you again. Would you like to go to dinner with me sometime?" Breath. Pause. "How is Friday night for you?"
And since some of you here are divorced dads with SONS, you can SO leverage that, too. "My SONS have no idea what to give their mother. What would YOU recommend?" And then just wait. She will start thinking. Look at her expectantly. OBT. Of COURSE she wants to help you and answer you. The stream of consciousness will start in about..... 17 seconds.
You know, with it being Wednesday, you could do this...

Friday
Saturday
and have 3 dates, AT LEAST, from doing this..... Just to help you out and to get you thinking and IN ACTION. Go!

Great ideas, April, but since my mom gets pictures of the kiddos for mother's day I won't be going out doing much shopping. Also, when I take my kids out for mother's day dinner (they might actually pay this year!) they get very upset if men talk to me....
The gifts I will be receiving will be whatever my kids decide to make me. But if anyone else wants to send jewelry, cash, or vacation invitations, I'm open!!!

Have safe travels and get home to the arms of those who love you. Hmmm. You know, I'm thinking it would really benefit others to have you and Steve, well, you massively cause of the miles you log, he somewhat, but less than you, everyone logs fewer miles than you, I Am the Road Warrior, don't they, Scott? to write some advice articles at your website about WHAT and HOW you build and nurture a close marriage relationship while on the road 90% of the time.
Because I imagine the honey do list is still there. And yet, you're beyond exhausted.
And then there's physical intimacy. I don't mean this crassly, but men are fatigued then. Either he might be ready IMMEDIATELY and completely leave out 98% of foreplay which for women IS part and parcel with The Main Event. (I'm striving to be tactful here, but we all know what I'm talking about.). Or the man frankly if FATIGUED, wants some relaxation time, needs to recharge his batteries, honey, I'll catch you Sunday (maybe), wants himself to be connected with before being expected to perform like the Sex God Love Machine she knows he is, and she is like ready for it NOW (impatient foot stamping). And then it's all about IT/Gratification rather than Sensual Communication and Making Love.
I hope I managed that delicate minuette balance well of we all know of what I speak, it was a tad alluring and titillating, while still remaining on this side of sexy classy and have not crossed the crass and vulgar threshold, yes?

Well at least with this approach you are letting the intended target know that you have children right away. This may scare some men away, as well as some women.
