I don't care if you it's your favorite or if it's really more a white bar and you are asian. Or it is Country Western and you are Disco. Go. This is just for practice, ok?
And then what about FRIDAY NIGHT?
Stay with WHAT IS POPULAR.
Go to THE MOST POPULAR RESTAURANT. OK, so now you can pick the most popular Thai, or the most popular Mexican. Or the most popular soul food.... you get my drift?
This is to INSPIRE you, your dating and your creativity.
Ok, ok. I hear your pain. "April, but, but, but.... you're being so harsh!" Ok, maybe that was. So with the bar. Could be the most popular.. dance bar... sports bar...

Where i used to work one of my male colleagues who was in his 40s had a definite THING for Paris Hilton. Sometimes I thought he must be pulling my leg, but he did it so often in such a genuine manner that the effect was the same any way.

Yes, yes, we will do what is popular this week. (as long as there aren't any popular girls there) (I always hated the popular girls in school - they were all mean!)
Popular restaurants OhYES!!!! I do so love to go out to eat. And how about a popular ice cream place for dessert?!!! Actually, if you go to the popular ice cream place here in Duxbury MA, you might run into Joe Perry, he lives in town here and goes there quite often I hear! Sorry, I have rock stars on the brain after posting on Tim's blog.
Thursday night is Rock Lobster '80s Night @ Neighbours which is primarily a gay club. I love going there and having the gay men and drag queens ooh and ahhh over what I'm wearing.
But not tonight...which is my #3 fave Depeche Mode song. Here's a link to the video (it's terrible but the song is great!)
I am going out dancing tomorrow night! Which reminds me we need to find an awesome club to shake what our mamas gave us in Vegas!!

I like Country Music, but it was never my scene. Growing up near the beach, boots and cowboy hats seemed like the worst idea on how to spend your Friday & Saturday.
So what happens? I ended up at a C&W bar one Saturday with friends and I had the time of my life. Did I meet people I would normally not have met? Yes. Did I have a really good time? Yes. Did I start going to C&W bars every weekend? No, because it still wasn't really my thing.
But it really was a good idea to break out of my usual pattern and try something new.
Good Advice, go with the flow.

Basically a huge networking event

The most popular club's are going to be directed at the young 20 something crowd. So it all depends on what your tastes are. If you are a "Cougar" than MEOW!
I agree with the most popular though, more people to choose from. I also agree with the different than what you would normally choose from. You never know where you are going to find true love! Try almost everything once is one of things.
